The Indiana Family Health Council (IFHC) is currently seeking board members to serve in the new year. We are looking for leaders from across the state to offer their fundraising, management/administration and networking skills to help us promote our mission and goals.
Our organization has been established in Indiana since 1969 when the Indiana Family Planning Project began and was sponsored until 1975 by the Indiana University Foundation. The original budget of $250,000 was allocated to seven family planning services in Central Indiana. In 1975, IFHC, a nonprofit organization was created and awarded the Title X Family Planning Grant which began in February of 1976.
Board members serve for three consecutive, two-year terms and meets six times per year. If you are interested in making sure Hoosiers have healthy outcomes, we encourage you to find out more about our organization, read the job description and if it’s a fit, apply.
We look forward to hearing from you.
